This policy applies to OnYou's paid plans. The Free plan charges nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
OnYou subscriptions are sold and charged through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle appears on your card statement, issues the receipt and processes refunds. You can request a refund by writing to us (section 5) or directly to Paddle at paddle.net; either door leads to the same answer.
If you purchase the annual plan and it was not what you expected, you have 14 days from the first payment to request a full refund, no questions asked. After those 14 days, the current year's payment is not refunded, but you can cancel the renewal at any time (section 4).
The current month's payment is not refunded. If you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Cancelling your subscription stops future charges; it does not delete your account or your content. When the paid period ends, your board moves to the Free plan with everything intact: what changes is the limit on how many people you can delegate to. If you had more people than the Free plan allows, you keep working with them; you just cannot add new ones.
Write to hello@on-you.app from your account email, with the approximate date of the payment. We reply within 5 business days; if the refund applies, Paddle returns it to the same payment method (how long it takes to show up depends on your bank).
A duplicate charge, or a charge after a confirmed cancellation, is always refunded in full, regardless of any deadline.
